Can the wedding photographer stay for longer than 8 hours?
Yes, this is possible, however there may be an additional charge for this. Please get in touch for a quote.
Is it cheaper if I book the wedding photographer for only 1-2 hours?
Our packages are priced to give you the best possible value for money. We wouldn’t recommend that you shorten the time allotted to the wedding photographer – Would you really like to miss on lifetime memories about you, your family & guests? However, if you require for the photographer to be present for only a short amount a time (less than 2 hours), then yes, it will be cheaper. Just make it clear at the time of booking so we can price it for you.
Do you have a back-up plan?
Yes, we do. We always have a minimum of two wedding photographers available at any given time in order to cater for emergency situations out of our control.
Do I have to provide a meal for the wedding photographer?
Yes, we normally request that a meal is provided. However, you don’t have to. If you do not wish to provide a meal, just let us know, in which case we’re happy to bring sandwiches.
Do you put wedding photography watermarks or any branding on the edited images?
No, we never have any watermarks or branding stamps on the images that we provide on the DVD. They are exported at a high resolution and a large file size (at least 3MB each) to ensure you can print the images at the highest quality possible and using any supplier (not just us!).
Are there any extra charges not included in the cost of a package?
Generally, no. However, we may ask you to cover any parking or congestion charges that we may incur on the day (if applicable), or transport costs if you require that we attend several locations that may be very far from each other.
What do I need to pay to secure a booking?
You need to pay the agreed deposit amount within 5 days of making a booking in order to secure availability. The agreed amount is stipulated within your contract. You need to pay the remaining balance in full at least 2 weeks before the wedding date.
How long will the wedding photography stay on the day?
We provide up to 8 hours of wedding photography coverage as standard across all of our packages. We normally stay until after the first dance in the evening.
Which payment methods do you prefer?
We prefer payment to be made by BACS transfer (internet or telephone). We also accept cheques made payable to Your Wedding Photography Ltd. As a last resort we can accept payment by card or by PayPal, however due to the fees that we incur we normally reserve this for emergency payments only.
What editing is done on the wedding photos?
We do colour correction, contrast correction and cropping as standard, which is reflected in the vast majority of wedding photography examples listed on our website.
